We didn't grow this oil and we don't press it. It comes from Podere Fontanella, a family olive grove in the Val d'Orcia in Tuscany, where the trees are tended by hand through every season. Rockin A Estates has adopted three of the grove's trees, and we're bringing a small share of their harvest home to Arizona.
Stella: Tree No. 4043, Row 4, about 116 years old.
Luce: Tree No. 8804, Row 3, about 115 years old.
Nino: Tree No. 1507, Row 4, about 23 years old.
All three are Frantoio, the classic Tuscan olive.
Harvest is underway now. The grove picks as the olives start to turn color, on the early side, for the bold oil it's known for, and the fruit goes to the mill within hours of leaving the branch. What comes out is single-estate extra-virgin olive oil from those three trees.
Three trees make a small amount of oil, and we won't know the final count until the pressing is done. Bottles are released once a year, after harvest, and only while they last. Join the waitlist below to be first in line.
Join the waitlist to reserve bottles from the 2026 harvest. Reserving is free and is not a purchase.
When the oil arrives from Italy, the waitlist hears first, with the price and a link to order.
Supply is limited to what our three trees give this year. When it's gone, it's gone until next harvest.
